Home Cottage is a charming, spacious and fully furnished cottage offering self-catering accommodation in Umtentweni, KwaZulu-Natal.
The cottage can accommodate 4 guests and consists of 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed. All bedding and towels are supplied. Only bring your own beach towels.
There are 2 bathrooms, one fitted with a toilet, shower, bath, and washbasin, and the other with only a toilet. Guest necessities, such as soaps, lotion, shampoo and toilet paper, are all supplied and enough for at least the first 3 days of stay.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, a gas stove, a washing machine and a microwave, as well as all crockery and cutlery. All cleaning supplies are available.
The living area has a comfortable lounge suite with a Smart TV and a satellite dish. Guests need only to bring their own decoder. Free fibre Wi-Fi facilities are available. Guests must please use their own login details to stream shows.
A large dining room set allows guests to share scrumptious meals together inside, or outside on the spacious patio, overlooking the evergreen garden, where a big firepot sits, ready for a small bonfire, s'mores and storytelling under the stars.
Also outside, guests have access to more outdoor seating overlooking the green garden, while making use of the Weber for a sizzling braai. Secure parking is available on the premises, accessible via a motorised gate.
The accommodation also has a backup power system and a backup water system in place. The owners are living on the property and are available to attend to any enquiries as needed.
There are many Blue Flag beaches to choose from, within a 15km radius. The South Coast Mall is just down the freeway, while Shelly Mall is around the bend in Shelly Beach.
