Description
Kliphuis 2 @ Vyver's Rus is situated on a private farm 10 km outside the town of Ladysmith, nestled at the foot of the Klein Swartberg mountain range in the Klein Karoo. The farm is located near the popular Route 62, which is linked by tarred main roads to Cape Town and Oudtshoorn.
This cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests at a time. It features an open-plan design and includes a loft space. The loft contains a double bed and 3 single beds, while the living area contains a double bed. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom.
The living area includes a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove and oven, fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. This space also has a dining table and a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace.
This living area leads out to a wooden balcony with a picnic bench and beautiful views of the dam and mountain. The cottage does not have electricity but there is a gas geyser for hot water. The LED lights and the fridge are supplied by solar power.
Activities in the surrounding area include hiking, horse riding, 4x4 driving, game viewing, wine tasting, and bird watching. Guests can visit the Touwsberg Private Game and Nature Reserve, located 35 km away from the farm.
