Tucked along the peaceful banks of a scenic lake, Lake St. Bernard – Crowned Crane is a charming self-catering cottage located on a farm in the Southern Drakensberg, just outside Swartberg. This idyllic retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and natural beauty.
The cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a child-only bed, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The second bedroom contains another king-size bed, while the third bedroom offers 2 single beds. Additionally, a sleeper couch is available in the living area for a child. The shared family bathroom is fitted with both a shower and a bath.
The open-plan living area boasts comfortable seating, a cosy fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Stepping outside, guests can relax on the patio overlooking the beautiful lake and enjoy the braai facilities.
