Description
Lapfontein Plaas is a farmhouse situated on a working sheep farm atop the Nuweveld Mountains. Guests are spoiled by the silence of the Karoo, far removed from daily routines and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Clear nights reveal spectacular starry skies found only in certain parts of the country. This is an ideal retreat for cycling enthusiasts and hikers.
The home comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating 6 adults and 2 children. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. There are also 2 child-sized beds available. The first bathroom is fitted with a bath, while the second bathroom has a shower.
The living areas include 2 lounges, one featuring a wood-burning stove and the other a TV. The kitchen includes a 4-seater dining table and is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, and microwave. A dishwasher and washing machine are also available for added convenience.
Guests can enjoy a lovely patio during the summer months, as well as a warm, covered sun porch with comfortable benches and chairs for colder winter days. The outdoor braai area provides a wonderful space for gathering around the fire.
