Peaceful, great location, well equipped. My husband and I stayed at Lloyd Road Cottages while we were in Port Elizabeth for a diving course, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The cottage is set in a beautiful, established garden under gorgeous trees, which immediately creates a sense of calm and privacy. It was warm, inviting, and felt wonderfully secluded. The location is ideal: close to excellent restaurants and amenities, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Everything about the cottage felt thoughtfully considered. From ample plug points and adapters to well-equipped appliances, good knives, and all the small touches that make a stay seamless and easy, nothing was overlooked. Carol was a fantastic host—friendly, communicative, and attentive, while also being very discreet. We always felt well looked after without ever feeling intruded upon. I would highly recommend Lloyd Road Cottages to anyone spending a few nights in PE, whether for work or leisure. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Fabulous stay. Beautiful cottage in a quiet garden, but close to restaurants. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Equipped with everything you would need for a stay in the city.

Absoluut fantastiese verblyf in Walmer. Ek beveel hierdie gastehuis aan vir mense wat van 'n groot tuin hou, mooi blomme, stilte, sekuriteit en privaatheid! Baie mooi omgewing, naby 'n groot winkelsentrum en lughawe. Goed toegerus met alles wat nodig is! Tafel vir etes of vir skootrekenaar met naby kragproppe, vinnige internet, TV met Netflix, goeie dubbelbed en banke, bad en stort en kombuis. Werklik 'n plek waar mens rustig kan wees en veilig voel! Parkering was binne die erf agter veiligheidshek.

Heerlik onder die groot bome gesit en sal beslis weer daar gaan bly. Dit was ook. Baie vriendelik ontvang. Woonstel baie skoon en kombuis het alles wat nodig is om daar te bly. Tee en koffie was beskikbaar en selfs ontbytkoekies ook.

Relaxing, calm, no disturbances. We had an enjoyable time. It was perfect for our purpose.

Private, quiet, and comfortable. The cottage is separate from the house and has a large bedroom with a sofa looking out onto a garden. Quiet street. A small gas heater is provided to warm the room. The bed has a comfortable mattress, lovely linen, and a super-warm duvet. Well-appointed kitchenette and bathroom. Helpful and friendly hostess.

Perfect! We felt right at home. The unit was kitted with everything you can think of. Carol's hospitality was 300%. Will definitely stay here every time I come to PE.
