Description
Makhato Lodge 116 is a self-catering holiday home situated within the Sondela Nature Reserve near Bela-Bela in the Waterberg region. Located approximately 150 km from Johannesburg, the reserve offers a tranquil bushveld setting where guests can enjoy wildlife sightings, including zebra, kudu, impala, and giraffe, as well as excellent birdwatching opportunities.
The home accommodates up to 6 guests and comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms and a guest toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery. The open-plan living and dining area is comfortably furnished and features a fireplace, while the entertainment area includes a bar and a TV with DStv.
The living area opens onto a patio with outdoor seating. Guests can also enjoy a spacious deck leading to the loft entertainment area, which features a built-in braai. An additional outdoor braai area and a firepit with seating are available for outdoor gatherings. Secure on-site parking is provided.
