Meadow Lane Love Cottage offers a peaceful retreat in a picturesque, park-like setting in the Southern Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal. This charming self-catering cottage provides beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and local wildlife.
The cottage accommodates up to 4 guests and features 1 spacious bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed and electric blanket, as well as a sleeper couch in the lounge. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a corner bath, shower, washbasin, and toilet.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, along with crockery, cutlery, and a 4-seater dining table. The lounge offers comfortable seating, a TV with a DVD player, and Wi-Fi (please note there are no TV channels available).
Outside, guests can enjoy a Weber braai and outdoor dining area—perfect for sundowners while taking in the tranquil surroundings. Activities available at Meadow Lane include bass fishing in a small dam, scenic walks, mountain biking trails (starting 2 km away), a zip line, pony petting, a jungle gym, swings, a trampoline, and kids’ kayaks.
