Mgwalana River Lodge offers self-catering units and is situated in the Mgwalana area close to the river, which is 40 kilometres from Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. Perfect for a large family or a group wanting tranquillity and comfortable lodging, away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Accommodation in the house comprises 7 bedrooms that are spread over 3 levels. The bedrooms are spacious and furnished with either double or single beds, and have an en-suite or share a bathroom with bath or shower facilities located on the same level as the room. Each level also has its own communal lounge and kitchen, which contains facilities such as a fridge and microwave, a stove and oven as well as a balcony or patio area, and guests can book the rooms individually for smaller groups and couples.
Secure parking is available for vehicles, and Mgwalana River Lodge is a short walk away from Mgwalana River and the beach, where bird watching and boating activities are endless, as well as other activities such as canoeing and surfing.
