The Molopo Kalahari Lodge, named after the currently dry river the Molopo, is situated in the area known as the Green Kalahari. It is approximately 200 km north of Upington, 5 km from the Botswana border and 60 km from the world-famous Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Basic, air-conditioned accommodation, with lots of attention to detail, bring nature right into your bedroom. It includes chalets, tented chalets, and a campsite with ablution facilities. The Molopo Kalahari Lodge is an ideal stop over on your way to the park or merely a breakaway from the busy city life. Guests are required to bring their own towels.

Guests are welcome to enjoy mouth-watering meals throughout the entire day at our restaurant also open to the public or socialise at our very famous Kalahari Bar. Other establishment facilities include a wedding and conference venue, an optional laundry service and 24-hour security.

Here, one can experience the true Kalahari while playing a round of human chess, relaxing next to the huge swimming pool or watching a game of rugby on the big-screen TV.
