Mount Serene is a 54-hectare farm located on the slopes of the picturesque Magaliesberg, falling within the Magaliesberg Biosphere Reserve. These self-catering units are ideal for guests seeking a unique and private getaway.

The Coach is a meticulously restored 1937 railway carriage suitable for a family or small group, accommodating up to 8 people. It comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second with two bunk beds, and the third with two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, basin, and shower. The coach features a lounge, dining area, and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, and microwave. Tea-and coffee-making facilities are provided. A patio with a braai area overlooks the private pool, trampoline, jungle gym, and kiddies swing.

The stone cottage, constructed from local stone, can comfortably house 2 people. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a shower fixed over a bath. This cottage has an open-plan layout, featuring a lounge, dining area, and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, and stove. Sliding doors lead to a patio with a braai area and a pool.

Each unit is nestled within the bush, ensuring absolute privacy. Both units are equipped with indoor fireplaces and come fully furnished for self-catering.
