We were personally welcomed by the very friendly owner who showed us the facilities and ensured we knew how to operate the (gas) geyser, remote switches, etc. We were also given a complimentary litre of milk due to our late arrival. The facilities are of a high standard: comfortable bed with good quality linen, fridge, microwave, TV with full bouquet DStv, a sideboard cupboard with crockery and cutlery, dish-washing and clothes-drying accessories, a well-appointed outside entertainment area and excellent security. The guesthouse is situated in the heart of a peaceful residential area, close to our extended family and within 5 km of major retail and entertainment complexes. We had a relaxing week, with an opportunity to visit extended family, and would have loved to stay longer!

The place is very nice inside and definitely value for money, very clean, tidy and above expectations. Slept very well. Spent the day at Emerald Casino and it was conveniently close for an overnight stay. The DStv wasn't working when we returned later that evening, but the pleasant hostess quickly fixed it for us, despite the fact that it was almost 11pm, which I appreciated. The coffee and rusks are nice. You can tell they are making an effort. A constructive suggestion is that the place would benefit from a full length mirror, and perhaps consider changing the shower head. More than just value for money.
Wow, where do I start. Dorothy and Riaan are incredible people, friendly, hospitable and have hearts of gold. Unit was very clean and tidy and well equipped. The coffee and rusks were top quality and the chocolates (my favorite) were a winner. We were also spoiled with incredible breakfast every morning, (of course at an extra cost, but as affordable as you won't find anywhere else). Thank you for the nice stay and pampering.
