Outentique Accommodation is a historic guesthouse located in the heart of Oudtshoorn. Housed in a beautiful sandstone building built in 1896, the property combines the charm and nostalgia of a bygone era with modern comforts.
We offer four individually decorated rooms to suit different needs:
Luxury Double Room: Located inside the original sandstone building on the front porch, this spacious room features a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. A kitchenette is included for light meals.
Luxury Triple Room: Also inside the sandstone building, this larger room sleeps three guests, with one double bed, one single bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Guests enjoy access to the front porch and period details throughout.
Budget Triple Room: A practical, cozy room accommodating three guests with one double bed, one single bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. A kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster is included.
Quadruple Room: Located in the modern wing of the property, this room sleeps four guests with one double bed and two single beds, and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, plus a private porch.
All rooms include a fan, heater, free Wi-Fi, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a bar fridge. Guests may make use of the shared braai area, with wood provided—simply bring your own meat. Friendly dogs and cats often wander the property and may stop by to say hello.
The property’s beautiful garden is a tranquil birdlife oasis, perfect for relaxing or strolling. Outentique Accommodation is within walking distance of Oudtshoorn’s shops and restaurants, and the famous Cango Caves are approximately 29.5 km away. Secure on-site parking is available behind a locked gate.
