Not a very welcoming place and don't think I would return there. Wasn't welcomed by anyone, all I got was a WhatsApp and had to figure the rest out myself. Wouldn't have seen anyone had I not needed loo paper, which was passed to me through the window. The place is extremely dark and nothing like is depicted in the pictures. The bathroom cupboard door looked like it was about to fall off, toilet seat loose. And only a TV and WiFi, no TV channels, maybe that should be specified.

Thank you for your feedback. The loo paper was a complete mis-sight on our end, and we apologise profusely for this error. Our cottage has a hands-off handover process, which is preferred by many of our guests. We highly value privacy and understand that some travellers do not wish to speak to hosts. This particular month, one of our hosts had a medical emergency that kept both individuals away from the house. Again, this is why the hands-off approach is our chosen method of handover. Your complaints about the fixtures are noted. This BnB is factually one of the most cost-effective cottages in the area. If it is not to your high standard, please do book with the many other higher-priced bnbs or 5-star hotels which offer concierge services. We are listed as having an “exceptional check-in experience” on the other BnB app. This is due to our stringent WhatsApp communication giving all details on access to the self-contained property.
