I am disappointed. This unit is not suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs. This should be made clearer. I had noisy neighbors all weekend. I was warned that this could be a problem. We are fanatical about cleanliness and guest experience, and this is what we regularly score top points for. JHB winters are dusty, but we strive to keep our apartments very clean; alas, the wind blows in winter and spreads dust everywhere within seconds of cleaning. It would have been great to tell our readers of your review about some of the great things you experienced. Like the wonderful jacuzzi bath in the main bedroom, that my team were on hand really early to assist you in moving the furniture around every day, that we had a fireplace that was lit and kept going for you all day. This fireplace usually heats the whole house; however, leaving all the patio doors and back doors open did not help your heating requirement, and as mentioned, dust was then coming in at a rate of knots. Not sure how we could have assisted in this. The fact that you had to spend R2k on your own wood, etc., is to be expected at any venue charging you less than that per night; this was not a requirement of your booking, as we would definitely have given you a higher rate or less discount for your stay. Conversations with your trainees were quite complimentary about the space, specifically the outside covered terrace overlooking the exquisite pool and braai areas that our guests rate very highly. I do suggest that in future, you let your hosts understand exactly what you are going to do, your expectations regarding the massage beds that will require furniture to be rearranged daily, the number of trainees, and other requirements so we can plan in advance and offer the best facilities to achieve your success.
