Quietly, with the sound of the sea, sleep soundly with no worries. It was peaceful, the hospitality was fantastic and good, the sea view is fantastic, would definitely want to book there again.

I love the place and have a lot of fun there! I am staying very nicely, but I missed a few things that would help me as a single person, especially like an indoor braai where I can braai on my own in the evenings. Apart from wind and weather that prevent braaiing on an open porch, it is not safe for a woman or one person to hang out/braai or just sit on the open porch alone. The open area is for two units that sometimes "clash" with each other because according to the people in the upper unit who also have to braai on the open porch, they can take the corner that was in front of my unit to braai in and sit when the wind blows hard on the porch. That was not nice, because first I have to put my things down in the corner in front of my window for when I want to braai, but maybe I am just doing it too late, then the people from above have already come down and claimed my corner for them and I have to sit through my window for them and watch them and they go back into my unit. I enjoy the view and the open space, but I am also looking for a little privacy. I also missed a washing machine in the two weeks I stayed there, plus the second bed might be child-free, but as a single person I might have a girlfriend sharing with me, or a boyfriend, and then the cot is not suitable for a big person. All the bed lacks is a thicker mattress on top that could work for adults. There are also small jobs that are missing, and maybe cupboards that are left open at times, because the cupboard smells terribly musty. But I can live with all that, because the location is good, and I'm addicted to the place, so I already book in advance for myself.

Beautiful sea view and very quiet and peaceful. Periwinkle has a picturesque and unobstructed view of the sea. It is close to shops and 50 m from the sea. We were able to have a lovely braai on the spacious veranda and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
