Pilgrims Thabazimbi Camp Site offers a peaceful and private camping experience at the foot of the Kransberg Mountains, bordering Marakele National Park in Limpopo. The open campsite is ideal for nature lovers, with roaming blesbok, impala, and nyala. Guests can relax in the dip pool, enjoy the children’s play area, or simply unwind in the tranquil surroundings. (A 4x4 is recommended during the rainy season as farm roads can become muddy.)
The campsite has 6 stands with electrical points (minimal solar power, not suitable for air conditioners or electric heaters). Ablution facilities include two bathrooms. Additional amenities include a washing area in the outdoor kitchen, a fridge, and a braai area.
Children can enjoy the playground, and guests can braai privately or gather around the communal firepit. The campsite is approximately 10 km from the Marakele Main Gate, offering easy access to the Big 5 and the scenic mountain drive to Lenong viewing point. The Marakele Animal Sanctuary, known for its big cats and Lion Mobile, is only 4 km away.
