Description

Each cottage comprises 2 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; both bathrooms have a shower and a bath. One bedroom contains a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. Each cottage comprises an open-plan lounge, dining cottage that can accommodate guests in 2 spacious bedrooms, both furnished with en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath and a shower. One bedroom contains a double bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The bedrooms and lounge open onto a large verandah overlooking the surrounding riverine forest. Fans are provided in the bedrooms and the living area. The open-plan living area consists of a lounge, dining space, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, and cookware. The lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and features a TV with a DVD player and selected DStv channels. Outdoor facilities include braai facilities and a trampoline for children. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, oven and stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, and all the necessary crockery and cutlery. Linen and bath towels are provided, as well as soap and toilet paper. Guests are required to bring their own beach towels, charcoal and firewood. Braai facilities are available, as well as a trampoline for the children.

House Rules

We are a nature reserve with wild animals so we have a strict no pet policy.
We do not allow smoking, vaping, and/or e-cigarettes in the cottages
No loud music
Cottages are serviced daily, but only by special arrangement on Sundays.
Please can we ask you to bring your own beach/swimming towels.
Firewood and charcoal are available at the farm stall/reception.

The owners live on the reserve and are involved in the everyday running of the cottages.
