Practical and spacious. We stay here regularly when we come shopping at Gateway Mall as it's across the street. Rooms are bigger than hotels at similar prices. I usually pay less for this room, but since it's peak time, peak rates apply.

We did enjoy Umhlanga in general. Overall good, but the place is not clean up to standard. We found hair of a previous guest all over the room. The shower was dirty, and the bath and basin tub were not working. Staff are helpful but not friendly. Carpets are very dirty. The parking area needs an upgrade.
