Description

Sani Lodge and Cottages is a Fair Trade Tourism-accredited establishment set on 30 hectares next to the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, offering an ideal getaway for couples, families, and nature lovers. Guests can choose from a variety of self-catering cottages and rondavels, all designed for comfort and relaxation.

Cottages feature fully equipped kitchens, cosy living areas with log fireplaces, feather duvets with electric blankets, heating, and private braai facilities. Aloe and Honeyguide cottages include private wood-fired hot tubs with mountain views. Hot tubs take 3 hours to heat, so guests are requested to notify reception in advance (earliest ready time: 1 pm).

Ntshitshi cottage accommodates 4 to 6 guests and includes a log fireplace, equipped kitchenette with coffee machine, 3 bedrooms, and an outdoor braai. Kingfisher and Woodpecker rondavels also feature private wood-fired hot tubs and stunning mountain scenery.

Guests have access to a swimming pool, a deck with sunset views, and a central lounge with a braai area. Daily family activities include Paint on Clay, and tours up Sani Pass into Lesotho can be arranged through Drakensberg Adventures.

The on-site restaurant and bar serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, cake, cocktails, draft beer, and local wines. The Craft and Farm Supplies Shop offers locally made crafts, ceramics, and fresh dairy products from Jersey cows, including cheese, yoghurt, butter, and ice cream. Daily Paint on Clay activities are ideal for the whole family.
