Stay@Edison offers affordable, comfortable self-catering accommodation in a quiet and safe residential area in Strand, near Gordon’s Bay and Somerset West. Although it is not located directly on the beach, it is only about 4 km from the sea, restaurants, the promenade, and shopping centres.
Each room features comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The units are well equipped with a microwave, small fridge, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. Morning coffee, biscuits, and free WiFi are provided.
Guests have access to secure parking on the premises as well as a communal braai area.
Stay@Edison is centrally located with easy access to the Stellenbosch Wine Route and surrounding wine farms, Cape Town, the V&A Waterfront, and Table Mountain. The airport is approximately a 20–30 minute drive away, and Gordon’s Bay’s main beach and harbour are only a 10–15 minute drive. The accommodation is also close to restaurants, shopping centres, hospitals (including Vergelegen Mediclinic and Busamed), retirement homes, care units, and various attractions.
