Description

Tamboti Retreat is a lovely, 8-sleeper self-catering lodge situated in the Shona Langa Nature Reserve, approximately 55 km from Bela-Bela. The reserve boasts 29 game species and 140 bird species, as well as an array of activities to enjoy during your stay.

This fully furnished, spacious, double-storey lodge comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and open-plan living areas. The main and second bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with 2 three quarter beds and 1 double bed. Both bath and shower facilities are available. The fully equipped kitchen contains a gas stove, an airfryer as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine for convenience.

The main living area leads out to the entertainment area, which boasts a swimming pool to cool down in, a bush braai and garden lapa area. The patio has a built-in gas braai. In addition, the lodge contains 2 air-conditioning units, and the full DSTV Premium channels. WiFi is available.

Please note: No game drives are provided. The farm is a private nature reserve. We provide a map for guests to take with them when driving on the farm. All roads are clearly marked. There is a 25km per hour speed limit for the safety of the animals. No open fires may be made in the bush, no fires may be made if there is wind and no loud music is allowed in order to respect our neighbours and to be able to enjoy the peace and quite of the bush

The farm offers much to do - game viewing, bird watching, visiting the wetlands, fishing at the catch-and-release dam which has braai facilities and ablutions; cycling and walks.

During load shedding or power outages, LED lanterns and a UPS for the Wi-Fi, are available for your convenience. The lodge also has filtered water for your convenience.
