Tau's Peak Camp & Lodge is set on a 35-hectare plot, ideally positioned directly across the road from Dinokeng South, the entrance to the Big 5 Game Reserve and just 20 minutes from the popular self-drive route.
It is the ideal venue for schools, youth groups, churches, clubs, and large groups hosting adventure, leadership, or team-building camps.
The property offers 2 types of accommodation. The dormitories accommodate a total of 51 guests, while the Bush Camp accommodates 8 guests.
All dormitories have private bathrooms and include 3 showers, 2 toilet cubicles, and 3 basins for maximum convenience. The dormitory area also features a fully equipped communal kitchen, along with recreational spaces that include a pool table and table tennis, great for downtime and socialising.
Located a short walk away on the same property, the secluded Bush Camp offers private accommodation specifically designed for teachers, leaders, and organisers. All chalets are en-suite and include a wardrobe and vanity for added comfort. The Bush Camp also boasts its own private lapa with a full kitchen, lounging area, dining table, pool table, dartboard, and a beautiful private rock pool, creating the ideal retreat for supervising adults to relax and unwind.
The property provides an array of outdoor amenities, including a large swimming pool, scenic hiking trails, a soccer field, and a spacious fire pit for evening bonfires. There is ample space for activities, gatherings, and exploration.
