Description
River Cottage is a private country cottage on the banks of the Vaal River on the Free State side, just 20 km from Potchefstroom. The cottage offers peace and a true getaway experience.
This cottage accommodates 6 guests and features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. Two of the bedrooms each have 2 single beds, and the third bedroom has a king-size bed. There are 2 en-suite bathrooms, each with a shower, toilet, and basin, and the third bathroom has a corner bathtub.
The living area includes a Smart TV where you can log in to your own streaming services. Unlimited WiFi is also available. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Lights and certain wall plugs remain on during load shedding.
Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, milk, braai briquettes, and toiletries are provided for your arrival.
Guests can relax on the patio with braai facilities while enjoying views of the river. The plunge pool is available only in summer. There are also expansive lawns where guests can enjoy a picnic or simply relax and gaze across the water.
