Description

The Train is a 1973 train coach that has been lovingly restored to high-quality accommodation alongside an 18m long platform. Located in the scenic town of Wakkerstroom, guests are guaranteed a peaceful stay at this unique accommodation.

The train can accommodate 2 guests and comprises 1 bedroom furnished with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a freestanding bath, shower, and toilet. All linen, bath towels, and soaps are provided.

The beautifully decorated living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, cutlery, and crockery. Leading from the kitchen is a French slow-combustion fireplace and a lounge area with comfy couches. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.

Outside is an observation deck with outdoor furniture, the perfect spot for sundowners as you watch the Vlei sparkle in the evening sun. For guests wanting to explore, the Wakkerstroom Wetland with its bird hides is within walking distance, and Ossewakop is 9.8 km away.
