Vaalkrans Game Lodge is a picturesque private game lodge situated in the Free State between Edenville and Heilbron. The lodge is ideal for nature enthusiasts seeking a tranquil retreat away from the bustle of the city, offering serene surroundings and opportunities to enjoy the local wildlife. Here, guests can relax while taking in the stunning natural views and enjoy activities such as game viewing and fishing.
The lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The upper floor contains 1 double bed and 2 single beds, while separate from the lodge a luxury room by the swimming pool offers 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms. Room 1 contains 2 single beds, and Room 2 has 1 double bed. A shared bathroom designed with families in mind can be locked separately for each room. Room 3 includes 2 single beds with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bathtub. Room 4, the Honeymoon Suite, has 1 double bed with a bathroom containing both a bathtub and a shower. Room 5, the Rondavel de Luxe, contains 2 single beds and features 2 bathrooms with showers, a private kitchen, a bar, a seating area, and panoramic views of nature and the swimming pool.
The communal kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and is located adjacent to the dining room, which has seating for 7 guests. The kitchen contains a fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, stove, oven, toaster, and kettle. The lounge provides ample seating and a TV and opens onto a balcony. On-site facilities include a communal swimming pool, a barbecue area, secure parking, and access to various activities such as game viewing and fishing.
