The guest arrived at the property a couple of hours ahead of the scheduled 4pm check-in time, while the cleaner was still preparing the space. Although I had previously communicated the check-in time, the owner was fortunately on-site and kindly assisted. I chose not to follow up directly as I didn’t want to risk any tension, particularly since this was my last booking through the platform.
At check-out, a few things were unfortunately overlooked: several windows were left open, the doors were unlocked, and the alarm was not set. I also received a call from Calibre Security regarding the keys, which had not been returned as expected. The guest initially mentioned the keys were with the security company, but after two days of searching, both the owner and I involved he let us know they had been left with a neighbour.
