Description
Waterfront Cottage is a self-catering bungalow set in indigenous forest, with a private beach, on the Western Head opposite Knysna, and situated between Brenton-on-Lake and Featherbed. The cottage provides easy access to the beach via a series of wooden stairs.
The cottage can accommodate up to eight adults and comprises four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The first, second, and third bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. Each bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin and is shared between two bedrooms.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a Smeg stove and oven, fridge, and microwave. A washing machine is also available. The dining area contains an eight-seater table, and the lounge area features a fireplace. Wi-Fi access is provided. Outside, a wide verandah contains seating and an eight-seater dining table. A built-in braai facility is available in the garden, and a twelve-seater table with a firepit is located under a tree, offering views across the lagoon.
The property is ideal for birdwatching, fishing, relaxation, and water sports. Guests can enjoy walks along the beach, as well as trails through the forest and across the property. A buoy is available for private boat mooring.
