Description

Wavesend Wilderness is a hidden paradise located in Wilderness along the scenic Garden Route, offering a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, style, and tranquility. Positioned between George and Knysna, the guesthouse overlooks the Indian Ocean, with views of Island Lake and the Outeniqua Mountains. The location is ideal for exploring the Garden Route, with easy access to the N2 highway, Lakes Area National Park, hiking trails, paragliding sites, kayaking, and golf courses.

Wavesend offers 3 accommodation units, each with a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, and Snackwicher. Two units feature an open-plan layout with a king-size bed, living room, flat-screen TV, coffee table, dining table for 4, and a sleeper couch. Each has a full private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a balcony with outdoor furniture, and a gas barbeque. Unit 3 includes two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one separate bedroom with a queen-size bed.

Additional amenities include bed linen, towels, a hairdryer, iron, board games, free Wi-Fi, secure parking, and easy beach access. Housekeeping is provided every second day.

A short walk takes guests to the villages of Wilderness, Sedgefield, Hoekwil, and George, where they can enjoy local restaurants and coffee shops and explore art, history, and specialty shops. Popular beach destinations like Wilderness Beach, Leentjies Klip, Salinas Beach, and Swartvlei Beach in Sedgefield are perfect for swimming and kayaking.

Activities close by include horseback riding, fishing, cycling, guided walks, and swimming, making Wavesend an ideal base for adventure or relaxation.
