The Silos at Welgelee Estate is a unique, French-inspired luxury retreat located in Cape Town's renowned Constantia Valley. Beautifully transformed from working grain silos into an elegant three-story French country-style residence, this remarkable holiday home offers guests a serene escape surrounded by vineyards, paddocks, mature trees, and spectacular mountain views.
The property can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 spacious bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Designed within the curved walls of the original silos, each beautifully appointed bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features its own private en-suite bathroom. For ultimate convenience, all four en-suite bathrooms are identically fitted with a shower-over-bath and a toilet. All bedrooms feature air conditioning and generous natural light, with several opening onto private balconies that frame scenic views of the Constantia Valley.
Guests can enjoy expansive, open-plan living and dining areas characterized by polished wood floors, antique pieces, and a magnificent circular entrance hall with soaring ceilings. The fully equipped, country-style kitchen features a gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker, providing everything needed for a seamless self-catering stay. Modern comforts include unlimited high-speed fibre Wi-Fi, a large flat-screen TV with DStv, an oversized daybed ideal for children or lounging, and an inverter backup system to ensure an uninterrupted stay.
