YS Klip Hys is situated adjacent to the Dinokeng Big-5 Game Reserve, Gauteng. It offers quality and self-catering accommodation, ideal for nature lovers. The unit has a green status which means that its energy comes from solar power. This means that the unit is not affected by load shedding.
The Kliphys is a quaint, small, handcrafted stone unit, with a rich history dating back to 1885. It features Yellowwood beams and trimmings and comprises 1 bedroom furnished with a double-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin, and separate toilet. It also has a sleeper couch for a third guest.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. It has a lovely living area with comfortable seating and leads to a private patio with a heated KolKol outdoor bath and braai facilities.
The beautiful patio overlooks the game farm and dam, and the animals graze next to the unit.
The Pop Hys was the original carriage house of the farm and serves as a second room with a double size bed, shower bathroom, and kitchenette. The room is equipped with air conditioning.
This unit is located on the Yeshuati private game farm and the Boekehout Spruit cobbles in the distance from the unit with fireflies lighting up the evenings.
Game drives are hosted by the owners to explore the Big 5. Yeshuati is also suitable for mountain bike rides and hikes, or to cast a line in the dam.
