Perfect getaway! So quiet, I could hear my thoughts for once. Heavenly seclusion! Whether you're a couple on a romantic getaway, a nudist, or simply hiding from the authorities, this is the place for you! Outside the cabin, there is nothing but vast landscapes, pastel sunsets and dazzling stars. The only visitors you can expect are the local birds, zebras, and a plethora of antelope species who have kindly let you into their home. You won't miss your TV for a single second. You won't regret it! Just a few notes: The nearest shops are about 45 minutes away, so bring enough supplies. There's a small shop at the reception area with wood, some drinks and snacks, but no groceries. Gravel road there, but it's very well maintained and recently scraped, so I could easily traverse it in my Polo. There is no WiFi or phone signal at the cabin (which was part of the appeal for me), but there is WiFi available at the reception area in case of emergencies (about 10 minutes drive at 'game reserve speed'). The youngsters at reception were incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful whenever called upon.

We had an extremely amazing stay in Zebra Cottage. Had an amazing weekend. The cottage had everything we needed. Perfect for a couple who wants to come away from the busy city life. Customer service was very nice from check-in till we checked out; they really made sure we enjoyed our stay.

The perfect romantic weekend away. I have been away countless times and this is the first time I'm writing a review. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with the friendliest of smiles. There is a single road that only leads to the cabin from the office, so you won't see anyone close to where you are. We also drove past wildlife on the way. It is extremely private and remote. You won't see or hear anyone from this cabin. It is so romantic. There is no reception at the cabin or WiFi, but there is WiFi at the office about a 4-minute drive from the cabin if it is urgent. They also sell wood and essentials at the shop. You can also book game drives on the reserve. Also, a bit of advice: start the fire in the hot tub about 6 hours before you want to use it; it takes a while to get warm. We will 100% be back for a visit. Hopefully longer than 2 nights this time. A definite must have. A picturesque backdrop with peace and serenity surrounding you. A perfect getaway for the corporate world to get in touch with nature to have some tranquil inner peace. Elina and Stephan were absolutely the best.
