Virginia Beach
Description
Virginia Beach is set between Umhlanga and Durban Central, and is located in Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal, quite close to Virginia Airport.
The beach is often very windy, which makes it popular among kite surfers, who tend to take off here, as well as surf-ski paddling enthusiasts. You'll often find people fishing from the shore, as well as owners taking their dogs for a walk along the sandy shoreline. Please note that it is not a swimming beach.
