"Pragtige dorp in die Overberg. Die Canola lande is asemrowend mooi op die oomblik."
"Napier is quite hilly and not particularly inspiring to look at although the plots are generously proportioned. However, it is well placed with easy access to visit many interesting places in the area (Agulhas, Arniston, Elim, Genadendal, Greyton, Hermanus, Stanford, the Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp, etc. etc.). There are also some different types of shops, a potter, military memorabilia, antiques, book shop."
"Napier is a good destination for people that are young and healthy but for those that have disabilities, there is a lot of stair climbing to get to businesses and restaurants. At present they are also experiencing excessive loadshedding as well as unscheduled power outages which is impacting all the businesses. There are also several of the businesses that have closed in the area due to various factors. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay."

"Ons 1ste besoek aan Napier, altyd net deurgery. Wat 'n pragtige, rustige dorpie met 'n outydse atmosfeer, laat mens dink aan Greyton en Stanford. Een van die min dorpe waar die ou huise nog behoue gebly het. So baie bekoorlike Victoriaanse huise hier op Napier, wat pragtig gerestoureer is na hul vorige glorie. So bly om te sien hoe skoon die dorp se strate is, geen wonder hul munisipaliteit staan 1ste in die klas (land) nie, welgedaan Napier!"
