"Scottburgh is, as many towns along the South Coast, in serious need of upgrade, especially the roads. The shopping centre was a disappointment."

"If you do stay in Scottburgh stay away from any units close to the petrol station, very loud with cars revving and loud music and people speaking very loudly. Just overall very noisy all times of the day especially at night and early mornings."
"Scottburgh is still one of the nicest beaches in KZN. We are glad to see that a new restaurant has replaced the old Wimpy location. Although there is limited maintenance to the buildings, we were pleased to see that the lawn was cut. and the swimming pools are being repaired. There is hope that Scottburgh beach will regain popularity once the area is maintained. The lifeguards were excellent."
