Description
Shaka's Rock is on the Dolphin Coast, less than 50kms north of Durban. While Ballito (only 5kms south) is far better known than Shaka's Rock, this region may be a better option for a slightly less bustling holiday.
The region of KwaZulu-Natal has everything a holiday-maker could desire - from the typical "surf, sun and sand"-style beach activities, to a variety of water sport and even some nearby golf courses. As the name might suggest, Shaka's Rock also provides good access to some of KZN best historical and cultural Zulu attractions.
