House Rules

No WiFi is available on site but a WiFi transmitter can be brought along if your service provider has not registered it as 'fixed LTE'.
A Smart TV with DSTV Premium is available and guests do not need to bring a decoder or card.
The outdoor barbecue has grills and the necessary tools.
Bedding is provided but guests must please. bring their own bath and swimming towels.
The keys are available in a key box on the premises. Guests must contact the owner directly to make check-in arrangements.
Check-in is strictly after 14:00 and check-out is strictly before 10:00 unless otherwise arranged with the owner.
As soon as guests arrive at the house they should please make sure the geyser is on.

All guests must place the garbage on the sidewalk in front of the house on Tuesdays (the day of garbage removal), All garbage must be in plastic bags that are tightly tied. No rubbish may be thrown directly into rubbish bins. Guests must use the plastic bags under the kitchen sink

Only the number of guests who form part of the reservation are allowed on the premises. No tents and caravans for guests will be allowed.

If the electricity runs out, guests must use the number on the distribution board to purchase electricity from the Spar - in Hartenbos Hoofstraat.

For load shedding, there are 2 rechargeable lights, candles and matchsticks, a detached gas bottle and a whistling kettle. Please note that the mobile phone tower is also affected by load shedding. On the ESP App, the schedule will appear under Hartenbos, Mossel Bay (7).
A maximum of 2 small dogs or 1 cat is allowed on the premises, provided arrangements are made in advance. One small dog bed and plastic bowls for water and food are provided. Guests must clean up after their animals. When the animals move outside the yard, they must be on a leash. No excessive barking will be tolerated and guests bring their animals at their own risk.

Quiet time is at 22:00 and guests must be respectful towards the neighbours. Excessive noise will be reported to the authorities, and if there are complaints guests will be asked to leave the premises without refund.

Smoking, vaping and hookahs are strictly prohibited indoors. Guests must smoke at 1.5 meters from the open windows and doors.

Please note that the grass is cut on a regular basis and this may happen during guests' stay. If this is the case, guests will be notified in advance.

The doors and windows should be locked and closed when guests leave the house and avoid leaving any valuables within reach of windows.

Should please do not walk or drive over the neighbours' yard.

A maximum of 2 vehicles is allowed.

Should please no items removed from "Hartenbos Huisie".
