House Rules

Ensure you take the keys before closing the slam lock on the security gate to avoid locking yourself out.

Parking is available on the grass strip inside the complex.

Find rubbish bins inside the cabinet next to the dishwasher.

Cleaning materials, including mop, broom, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, and extra trash bags, are available under the kitchen sink.

Avoid starting the dishwasher shortly before check-out.

The stovetop is an induction top; use the correct-sized induction pot or pan on the matching circle so that the magnets will align.

The Netflix App is downloaded on the TV, you can use your own Netflix Subscription Login, we do not supply a Netflix Subscription

Use the safety deposit box with the code 1818# located below the TV to the right.

Operate the large sliding windows with care, due to the seafront climate, they move slowly and are a little sticky
Some kitchen cabinets are locked and marked as Private do not attempt to open them.

Locked housekeeping closet in the bedroom marked Private do not attempt to unlock.

Find bathroom and beach towels inside the bedroom closet.

The wooden log display next to the fireplace is for display only and not for use.

No smoking inside the unit.

The braai is relatively small; avoid building large fires and close the covers afterward.

Keep the black rubberized mat in front of the fireplace in place to protect the floor.

A portable USB lamp is available for load-shedding rechargeable in the USB socket next to the bed.

Emergency bulb lamp next to the microwave for load-shedding.

After load-shedding, reset the oven error message by flipping down the switch marked stove on the distribution board inside the cabinet above the toaster for at least 10 seconds.

Close and lock the bedroom and living room windows when leaving the apartment.

If you require Housekeeping services, kindly reach out to your host for arrangements, housekeeping services include cleaning the entire apartment, bathroom, kitchen, floors, and surfaces, as well as braai and fireplace cleaning and a change of towels and linen.
Housekeeping is performed between 10:00 and 14:00 preferably with Guests outside of the unit.
