Really enjoyed staying here. Worth the money. It was definitely more than I expected. It was nice having wildlife visits on a daily basis. The house was in tip-top condition apart from the TV remote not working. The WiFi was also not working. Some of the outdoor lights were not working either, although I've seen numerous complaints about this from previous reviews, yet it's still not fixed. The house is located close to the shop and restaurant. Was a really good weekend, with the weather in our favour and finishing off the stay with a game drive before heading home. Will definitely want to stay at 250 Tlou Lodge again.

It was good but could have been better. This was my second visit to 250 Tlou. My first visit was in March 2025 and again in January 2026. Apart from the kitchen being completely redone, there are no other efforts made to fix small things that have been mentioned numerous times in other reviews. Internet not working. TV remote not working. Outdoor light completely broken. Weeds in the front are overgrown; it's actually an eyesore compared to the adjacent houses. The top floor aircon remote is missing. Speaking of aircons, all those filters were disgustingly clogged; we had to clean them. I can tell that the place is not getting the attention it deserves, as I can compare it to our previous stay. I would still recommend it but read the reviews and manage your expectations. Still having a leaking toilet. Shower heads not working properly. It's a matter of time before someone is going to get seriously injured with the slippery tiles by the pool.

Relaxing, but attention is needed. DSTV had a problem and was fixed relatively quickly. Wi-Fi never worked; although support asked many questions, they never fixed it for the entire time. Both should work and be tested before new guests arrive. The weeds in the paving need removal. The fire pit also needs attention; there are loose bricks and some can get hurt. The toilet was also leaking. The dial on the fridge is broken off, thus you cannot set the fridge. The rain was also not so good, as there is no place to braai underneath a roof. The breakage fee is totally too high.
