Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R1100 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
A breakage deposit must be paid in cash upon check-in. The deposit will be refunded via bank transfer within 14 days after departure, once the property has been inspected and no damages or losses have been identified.
Guests must ensure that the breakage form is completed before departure in order to qualify for a refund.
If the house is not left in the same condition as it was upon arrival, a cleaning fee of R500 will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
Any lost or damaged keys will be charged accordingly.
Tenants are responsible for any loss, theft, or breakage that occurs during their stay.
Please note:
The breakage deposit will not be refunded on the day of departure.
Guests must provide their banking details before departure for the refund to be processed.
Breakage deposits not claimed within three months of departure will be forfeited.
General Terms and Conditions
Check-in is at 14:00, unless alternative arrangements have been made with management beforehand.
Check-out is at 10:00, unless otherwise arranged with management.
Guests must bring their own beach towels.
Bookings will only be confirmed once the deposit for the rental has been paid in full, unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing.
The remaining balance of the rental is due 4 days before arrival. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival, unless the accommodation is re-let for the full period.
For cancellations made earlier than 2 weeks before arrival, a 50% cancellation fee will apply unless the accommodation is re-let for the full period.
No refunds will be given for early departures.
The maximum number of guests booked for the property may not be exceeded. Additional guests will be charged per extra person.
The booking deposit must be paid on time; the booking may be cancelled.
All bookings and arrangements must be confirmed via email.
Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited. Guests found smoking inside the property will be fined.
Before departure, please ensure the house is locked and left in the same condition as on arrival. The property must remain locked, and the alarm must be activated when you are away.
Pets are not allowed, unless arranged beforehand. Only small dogs may be permitted with prior approval.
The owner accepts no liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings or motor vehicles during the stay.
When leaving the property, ensure that all doors and windows are locked so that the household theft and burglary insurance remains valid. Failure to do so may result in tenants being held liable for losses.
No items belonging to the property may be removed, and furniture may not be moved within the unit.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Beach towels are not supplied. Any damaged bedding will be charged to the tenant.
Guests must bring their own toiletries, including toilet paper and soap.
A basic cleaning service is provided once a week, which includes making beds, changing linen, and cleaning floors. As the unit has a dishwasher, washing dishes is not included in this service.
Additional cleaning services must be booked at least 2 days in advance and cost R100 per morning. Further details can be provided via WhatsApp.
The house will be thoroughly cleaned before arrival. Guests are requested to leave the property in the same condition upon departure.
Guests must notify 58 on the Beach well in advance if they will be arriving after 16:00. Failure to do so may result in no one being available to open the house upon arrival.
The guest house is located in a residential area. Guests must behave in a respectful and quiet manner, including no excessive noise, loud music, or disorderly behaviour.
If any of these conditions are breached, management reserves the right to evict guests from the property.
