House Rules
Located in a UNESCO-recognised biosphere, the host kindly asks all guests to respect the environment, community, and home.
Guests should kindly refrain from making loud noises between 22:00 and 08:00.
No smoking indoors.
No pets unless pre-approved.
No parties, events, or unregistered guests.
No tampering with Wi-Fi routers, meters, or gas systems.
No drones or motorised watercraft.
Do not feed or disturb wildlife (esp. baboons) and keep doors and windows closed when unattended.
The stove & geyser run on gas; guests should not move the cylinders.
Ventilate when cooking; if you smell gas, switch off the main valve and contact us immediately.
Septic system in use: only flush toilet paper. No wipes, sanitary products, food waste, oils, or chemicals down drains
Use bins provided (general & recycling). Deposit full bags in bins under the house.
Guests should rinse sand off before entering.
No open flames or braais except in designated areas. Guests should always check fire risk ratings.
