Description
Each unit has a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, and an additional outdoor shower. In-room facilities include air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, mosquito nets, a stocked mini-bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a safe, desk, hairdryer, heater, sitting area, terrace, daily cleaning service, turndown service, and wake-up calls.

House Rules
Bookings must be made at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date. Last-minute bookings cannot be accepted.
Guests are advised to pack a range of neutral-coloured clothing, including khaki, green, or brown, such as shorts, T-shirts, long trousers, and long-sleeve shirts.
Closed walking shoes are recommended for bush walks and cooler mornings or evenings, along with sandals or flip-flops and swimwear.
A wide-brimmed hat is essential. Bright colours should be avoided.
For colder days, particularly between May and September, guests should bring a warm jacket and fleece or sweater.
Other recommended items include a small torch with batteries, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, a camera, and personal medication. A basic first aid kit is available at the camp.
Abelana is located in a low-risk malaria area. Guests are strongly advised to consult a medical professional regarding malaria prophylaxis before travel.
Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuations, cancellations, and loss of personal items is essential.
As the camp is situated in a remote wildlife area, all safaris are conducted by qualified, armed guides. All activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
A conservation fee of R135 per person per night applies.
