Description
Each AfriCamps tent features a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan living and dining area with a couch, an indoor fireplace, and a solid wooden table with seating for 5. Each tent comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests in 2 air-conditioned bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with an extra-length queen-size bed, while the second bedroom includes a tri-bunk bed. All beds are made up with electric blankets for added comfort. For maximum privacy, each bedroom offers private access to an en suite bathroom featuring a large rain shower, washbasin, and flushing toilet. Each tent includes a private outdoor wood-fired hot tub, perfect for cooling off in summer or warming up in winter. Guests can enjoy a braai on the spacious wooden deck and take in the views from the comfortable deck loungers. Sliding doors open to transform the tent into a spacious outdoor living area, allowing guests to unwind and savour a festive family breakfast while soaking in the serene natural beauty of the African bush. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, a bar fridge, cutlery and crockery. For longer stays, an additional cooler box will be useful for keeping food and drinks cold. Ice is available for purchase from the camp.

House Rules
Dog-friendly camps:
Dogs are permitted at selected AfriCamps properties by prior arrangement only at a fee of R250 per dog per stay. Only one well-behaved small or medium-sized domestic dog is allowed per tent. Our dog-friendly camps are located in Stanford, Cederberg, Hex Valley and Oudtshoorn.
Dogs may not be left unattended and must be on a leash in shared areas. Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs do not disturb other guests, wildlife, or property, and guests accept full responsibility and liability for their dog at all times. General rules of behaviour:
In order to make the stay on the farm as pleasant as possible for all guests, we expect all the guests to stick to the general rules of behaviour and appearance based on common sense and basic etiquette. Breaching these regulations can lead to removal from the farm without a refund of the rental sum or a part of it. It is possible that maintenance activities may take place during your stay on the grounds or at the accommodation(s) such activities will not entitle the customer to a refund. No day visitors are permitted on the property unless prior arrangements have been made and approved by AfriCamps.
Noise and music policies:
No music or excessive noise is allowed at any of our camps unless you have booked the entire property to host a function. Please consider your fellow guests and quiet down completely at 22h00. The enjoyment of nature and tranquillity is our first priority. Please notify us if fellow guests are not adhering to our no-noise policy.
