Perfect, relaxing, beautiful. The hosts were genuinely awesome and have clearly put thought into the guest experience—the place has everything you need. After a day of exploring, that huge shower and the incredibly comfy bed were exactly what was needed. It’s the kind of comfort that makes you want to hit the snooze button a few extra times. Farm life & atmosphere. The vibe is pure peace and tranquility. Waking up to those scenic rustic farm views is the perfect reset from the city. Plus, the local "residents"—the fun goats and the ostrich—add such a playful, unique touch to the morning coffee routine.

Lovely peaceful stay! We had a wonderful stay! The canal that flows in front of the cottage creates tranquility and we enjoyed the two tame goats and ostrich. The lovely large swimming pool was a welcome relief in the heat. The massive poplar trees provide wonderful shade and the leaves sing the most beautiful tune when a breeze stirs them - once again tranquility while you braai. Thank you, for your friendliness, we will definitely book with you again.

Lieflike rustige verblyf!

Very comfortable and cosy stay. Did a one night stay for a weekend break away. The cottage was comfortable and the bed & pillows were very comfortable. (I normally bring my own pillow but there was no need as they were good quality, firm pillows.) Loved the fireplace. Ensure you bring enough wood if you are planning on using the fireplace. It was chilly as it is the middle of winter, but the aircon also helped warm up the rooms.

Pure bliss. Luxury Cottage 1 @ African Olive Country Estate is a very beautiful and well-equipped place. The cottage has a very nice view, is in a quiet and rural area and is well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back again.
