Charming for one day. We enjoyed it, but the entrance was not clearly indicated. We were at the backside with no mark showing we had to use another entrance. Calling the website did not work (they did not pick up). The house is very old, and we liked it, but the room we intended only had a bath and not a shower. The floor creaks, and fortunately, we were alone in the house. So charming, but electricity, etc., is really old. The Wi-Fi did not work, but it did work in the neighbour guesthouse, where a great breakfast was served with very nice staff.

Warm hospitality and peaceful home. It was a wonderful experience. Janey was amazing, the breakfast is delicious and the garden is peaceful. Couldn't have asked for a better resting spot. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to going again.

Lovely, stately old home. Found the place to be a bit noisy at night, as there is a Sports Bar across the road. WiFi did not function. Excellent breakfast.

Dear Gary, Thank you for your review, we appreciate the kind words about breakfast. Apologies for the Wi-Fi and noisy pub across the road, we will have a word with them. Kind regards, The Airlies Team

Vriendelike groete, Die Airlies-span

Acceptable. Somewhat awkward as various groups share the same house. Even though the doors can lock, we didn't feel too private as you can hear the footsteps on the wooden floors all throughout the house, even with closed doors. The host took quite a long time to settle our rooms, keys and WiFi.

Aanvaarbaar. Effens eienaardig omdat verskillende groepe dieselfde huis deel.

Dear Mr. Le Roux Thank you very much for your review. I apologize for the creaking wooden floors, but this is part of the image of authentic charm we want to create. I also apologize for the confusion you experienced regarding the Wi-Fi etc. If we see you again in the future, we will definitely make it a better experience for you. Friendly greeting Janey

Vriendelike groete Janey
