Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R6500 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
Vehicle Access: A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the estate, with tyre pressure reduced by 1.2–1.5 bars. Two-wheel-drive vehicles are not permitted, as they can damage the roads.
Swimming Pool & Amenities: The pool has no safety features. Use of the pool and associated amenities is at guests’ own risk. Guests are asked to thoroughly wash or rinse off all tanning lotions before using bathroom towels or bed linen, as staining may occur. Any irreparable damage or staining will be charged to the guest.
Guest Age Policy: If booked by a group of younger guests, no one under the age of 25 may stay without parental or adult supervision.
Utilities: Due to the remote location, brief interruptions in electricity may occur, which can temporarily affect water pumps and water availability.
Staff & Services: There is a compulsory daily staff levy for two housekeepers, payable in cash, which includes arrival and departure days. Antonio, the gardener, maintains the pool, braai, and outside areas. No compulsory levy applies to him, but gratuities are welcome. Staff hours are Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00, Saturday 07:00–12:00 (R75 for afternoon if required), and Sunday/Public Holidays R150 per day if required. Hours include a one-hour lunch break.
What to Bring: Guests are responsible for bringing food and drinks, drinking water, charcoal, firelighters, adaptors, and personal items.
Breakage Deposit: A refundable breakage deposit is required prior to arrival and will be refunded within two weeks after departure, subject to deductions for any damage.
Check-Out: Late check-out may be arranged on request, subject to availability, with no check-out later than 15:00.
Pets & Conduct: Pets are not permitted. Loud music, parties, and functions are strictly prohibited.
Noise & Estate Rules: Guests must comply with estate rules. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00. Non-compliance may result in warnings, forfeiture of the breakage deposit, and immediate eviction with no refund for unused nights.
