Altyd Lekker offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in an open-plan cottage situated in Beaufort West, the oldest and largest town in the Great Karoo region.
The open-plan cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests and features 2 double beds and a single bed and a bathroom with a shower. There are a dining room table and chairs and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, 2-plate stove, kettle, and a toaster. The cottage is equipped with a TV.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool set in a well-kept garden and also have their own braai facilities and secure parking.
The town of Beaufort West is a historic eco-tourism stop in the Western Cape, known as the 'Capital of the Karoo.' Famous heart surgeon Professor Chris Barnard is honoured in the local museum. He grew up in Beaufort West, and his father was a minister in the Dutch Reformed Church. Beaufort West attractions include Beaufort West Museum, Christian Barnard Museum, Donkey Cart Tours, and the Karoo Nuweveld 4x4 Trail. Bergplaats Game Reserve is located nearby and offers game viewing, horse-back safaris, and mountain bike trails.
