Ark Gastehuis and Williston Mall are situated within the world-famous Williston Mall, a creative and entertaining tourist destination. The guest house offers a friendly and homely experience and is ideal for guests seeking a comfortable, unique stopover or longer stay. The building, originally constructed in 1905 as a boarding school for girls, is run by two artists and has been decorated to reflect their distinctive style.
Accommodation comprises eight individually styled rooms, all with outside access. Seven rooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers, while one room features a bath. Rooms include tea- and coffee-making facilities, snack baskets, a TV with selected channels, and free Wi-Fi. Five rooms are air-conditioned, and three are fitted with fans. Rooms are booked on a room-only basis, with breakfast available on request at an additional cost.
On-site facilities include a small splash pool, a communal lounge with board games, books, and puzzles, a braai area, and a carnival games area. The large yard contains keepsakes from the past, a treasure hunt, and a local craft shop within the Williston Mall. Secure off-street parking is provided.
The guest house is located close to shops, an old NG church, a museum, restaurants, and other local amenities, making it a convenient base for exploring the town and surrounding area.
