Description

Assendelft Lodge & Bush Camp is located 40 km from Prince Albert, an area renowned for its hiking trails, wildlife, museums, and the famous Swartberg Pass. This accommodation offers the perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape from city life.

The lodge provides 8 accommodation units that can host up to 17 guests, including Lodge Rooms, a Cottage, and Bush Camp Chalets.

The 2 Lodge Rooms each accommodate 2 guests, one with a queen-size bed and the other with 2 single beds. Both rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin, as well as a small fridge and a breakfast table. A self-service breakfast consisting of muesli, yoghurt, milk, fruit juice, tea, and coffee is included and can be enjoyed in the room or on the patio. Braai facilities can be provided upon request.

The Cottage, located next to the Lodge, features a bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin, and a living area with a kitchenette and a single bed. It is ideal for a small family with 1 or 2 young children. The breakfast offering is the same as in the Lodge, and braai facilities are available. This unit is best suited for self-catering stays.

The Bush Camp consists of 5 Chalets, each equipped with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The chalets include a gas single cooker, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and all linen. Each unit also has private braai facilities.

Camping is also available at the Bush Camp, with space for tents, caravans, and other setups. While there are no designated camping stands, guests can choose from several suitable camping spots. An ablution block with two bathrooms is provided for campers’ convenience.
