Huisreëls
The heated swimming pool is leased to ATKV Hartenbos by Hartenbos Seefront. Due to structural challenges with the roof, Hartenbos Seefront has assumed responsibility for its replacement. The removal of the asbestos roof commenced in September 2025, and the
installation of the new roof has now been completed.
The next step is to apply to the municipality for permission to refill the swimming pool, in light
of the current water restrictions. Should this application be successful, further work will be required to restore the building, pool, and heating system to a fully operational condition. ATKV Hartenbos will make the heated swimming pool available to guests again once all construction work has been safely and fully completed.
If the project continues according to plan, reopening is currently anticipated for a later stage in 2026. The safety of our guests remains our highest priority at all times.
Further updates on the progress of the project will be communicated as they become available. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Group Bookings:
Special conditions apply to groups of 20 or more people (5 or more units/campsites). A special deposit is required, and a dining area must be reserved.
Pets:
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
Occupancy Limits:
We regret that we cannot accommodate additional people in the units. For example, if a unit accommodates 4 people, that is the maximum allowed. We do not provide extra beds, and we do not permit additional persons or children in the units.
Please note that we are a family-oriented establishment. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation units and buildings throughout the property. In line with legislation, guests may be fined for non-compliance. The use of hookah or hubbly bubbly pipes is also not permitted on the premises.
You will be required to accept the full terms and conditions as provided by management at the time of booking.
Additional guests, other than those listed on the booking, are not allowed.
Upon arrival, you will be required to:
Complete and sign the resort’s indemnity form.
Receive a vehicle permit.
Only one vehicle per accommodation unit or campsite is allowed. An additional fee will be charged for each extra vehicle.
Please note that an administration fee and bank charges apply to cancellations and refunds.
Due to the increasing number of fraudulent EFT transactions, we require that EFT payments be made at least 2 days before arrival. If your payment is not reflected in our bank account upon arrival, you will be required to pay the outstanding amount. A refund will be issued once the payment is reflected in our account.
No keys or permits will be issued until the full account has been settled. Cheque payments are not accepted.
Additional Notes:
Accommodation units are serviced daily.
No visitors or day guests are allowed at the unit or on the property.
Guests using our camping facilities must bring their own power point adapter.
Please bring your own swimming towels and dishcloths.
No music is allowed at the resort from vehicles or private sound systems/equipment.
Motorcycles and quad bikes are not allowed at the resort.
Only appropriate swimwear is permitted.
Please note that during the off-season, midweek conference and/or school groups may be present at the resort.
