Description

Baakensrug Holiday Farm is situated 85 km from Beaufort West in the peaceful Karoo, offering a tranquil retreat for relaxation and revitalisation.

Accommodation is provided in three units, namely the Springbok Unit, Baakensrug Gemsbuck Room, and Baakensrug Zebra Room, which together can accommodate up to 15 guests. Each unit is furnished with comfortable beds and features a bathroom fitted with a shower. A large kitchen with an open-plan lounge is available for shared use by all guests.

The farm is accessed via a gravel road, and guests are advised to enquire about road conditions prior to booking.

Baakensrug is a fully operational Merino sheep, Mohair goat, and game farm, offering an authentic farm experience away from city life. Guests can enjoy activities including horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, and game drives. Bushveld picnics can be arranged upon request, and the farm provides a warm Karoo-style hospitality throughout the stay.
